Why wouldn't you use TouchID on the MacBook Pro's touch bar?
Not everyone has the touchbar macbook. Many people choose a MBP without the touchbar! (like me)

This, but it should also be noted many people (myself included) CHOSE to buy a MacBook without a touchbar.
Definitely! I'm not a big fan of the new MBP which take the Pro out of MBP... I updated my original comment.

I like the idea but it doesn't work. It won't recognise the fingerprint capabilities on the phone (works fine with any other apps).
