Free store scan — tell me where the report loses you
We launch here on August 25th. Before that I need something more useful than upvotes: people telling me the reports don't make sense.
Quick context on what DriftVera does and why I built it this way.
Accessibility on an ecommerce site isn't a state you reach — it's a state you drift out of. You fix your product images in March. Then you add 40 products, an app updates, a seasonal banner goes up, a review widget changes its markup. Nobody touched the theme, but half of what you fixed is broken again. Every tool I looked at sells a one-off audit and then leaves.
So the product re-scans weekly and tells you what changed. Two things I decided early:
→ When nothing changed, the email says nothing changed. "No new critical regressions this week — 143 pages monitored, 0 new critical issues, 7 existing issues unresolved." I deliberately didn't build the version that manufactures findings so the email looks busy.
→ It's not an overlay. No injected script claiming to fix your site. It tells you what a shopper actually experiences and where in your admin to change it. Instead of "img element missing alt attribute" you get: "A shopper using a screen reader hears 'image' and has no way to know which product it is. Fix: Products → open the product → click the image → fill the Alt text field."
Here's where I need help.
That translation layer is the entire product. It's also the part I'm least able to judge, because I wrote it. What reads as "clear and useful" to me might read as condescending, or obvious, or still too technical to act on.
So: drop your store URL below and I'll run a scan and post the report link. Free, no account, nothing to install. Then tell me honestly which parts you'd actually act on and which parts made you go "…and what do I do with that?"
If you'd rather not post your URL publicly, run it yourself at driftvera.com and just tell me what confused you.
Honest limits up front: automated testing catches a real but partial share of accessibility problems. Whether your alt text actually describes the product, whether a real screen reader user can finish checkout — that needs a person, and the report says so. This is risk visibility, not a compliance certificate, and it isn't legal advice.
I'll reply to every store posted here.
