The Drift team just made the BIGGEST update to Video since it launched last year. There's now a bot on every video waiting to greet viewers the second they start watching. This takes engagement to a whole new level and enables sales and marketing folks to work in their sleep, literally.

Drift bot is great, however, it is time to develop a bot that would be effective enough to handle sales operations.

In my opinion, it's very unclear what the actual product is here. What is a "video bot"? I watched the intro video via the link and I'm still confused.

Hey Tim, the product is Drift Video that now includes a bot. The chatbot will help your viewers engage using button responses and automated messages. When the viewer wants to chat with a human, the bot will notify creator of the video so they can jump in to the conversation.
I think I understand. So it's not really that this is a new product per se, but a new channel for the same product ?
Hands down my favorite tool to book sales meeting with target accounts.

We are SO excited to give every Drift Video customer a Drift Video Bot. If you are someone (like me) who… 🤬 Hates writing long, explanatory emails 😭Wants to reply to their customers faster but your calendar looks like a block of cheddar cheese instead of Swiss cheese 🥵Is chasing down customers you’re having trouble engaging…. 😴Needs their sleep + can't be there to respond to video chats right away We’ve got you. Drift has continued to push the envolope as I have to create better lead generation tools. So it only makes sense they released a new and improved idea which is a new renvenue channel but took a video and gave it the opportunity to generate leads in one place! Brilliant and stop stealing my ideas of the future of communication between customer and business. LOL. :P Good work!
