Astonishing. <3 Podcast creators will now save their time instead of writing transcripts. Huge time saver.

52 upvotes but no review yet? Anyone used Descript yet and had success? Would be useful to hear if this tool can outperform services like Rev or Trint. Interested to hear some reviews after it’s been put through its paces. I’ll do the same once I’ve had a chance to take it for a spin.

The accuracy is really great. Our team liked it so much! But had a bunch of bugs during a short test: - Incorrect "Undo" command. One time it even crashed the app; - Sometimes deleting text from script doesn't delete this audio part; - Small UI bugs. I think, adding label "beta" would be reasonable ;)

Anyone here knows about a tool that can automatically "separate - music from the voice content in Audio"?

descript looks like a very neat app for editors who sit at editing stations all day. but how is this functionality different from the built-in script and speech transcription features that are in the BIGVU.TV app / site? obviously, they're different app types, but the latter removes the need for an editing room staffer to do all of that. is descript more for full-time professional a/v content editors?
