DailyHub - A personal command center for projects, tasks, and habits.

A personal command center for people who juggle more than one project at a time — founders, consultants, indie builders, anyone with client work, side projects, and a few non-negotiable daily habits. DailyHub is not a replacement for Linear, Jira, or Notion. It is the morning surface: what is open, what belongs where, what must happen today, and what you already finished.

Hey everyone! 👋 I'm Basel, and I'm excited to share DailyHub with you today. I built DailyHub to solve a simple problem: digital clutter. I wanted a quiet, distraction-free workspace that just keeps the entire day in one place without the noise of a dozen different apps and open tabs. Because I wanted it to be fast, private, and developer-friendly, DailyHub is entirely local and 100% open-source. You can grab it directly from GitHub or npm, run it locally, and start organizing your day without relying on cloud subscriptions. I'd love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or any questions you have about the architecture or the roadmap. What integrations or features would make this your perfect daily workspace? Looking forward to hearing what you think! 👇
Is this suitable for a personal workspace? What integrations are available? I currently use Todoist and would love to know how this compares.

the "not a replacement for Linear/Jira/Notion, just the morning surface" framing is honest, but that's also exactly the shape of tool that dies from maintenance cost - if it's entirely local with no sync, isn't today's task list now a third place I re-type the same three things into, next to Linear and whatever client tool I'm already in? genuinely asking since you asked what would make it the perfect workspace: for me it'd be read-only pull from the tools I already use rather than a fourth app to keep updated by hand, even if that's a much bigger build than what you shipped today
