Thanks @klngnbrg for hunting us! We built Conversational Form as an open-source framework to turn web forms into conversations — making it easy for developers and designers to engage with users in a more compelling way. Happy to answer any questions you may have!

@daniel_friis @klngnbrg love this and have been waiting for something like this to be launched. How easy is it to implement my own design? What's the cost?
Daniel Friis
@prestonattebery @klngnbrg - Thanks! Really easy. Just add the script to your site, and you're off. No cost - it's open-source :)

@daniel_friis great work!

@daniel_friis Just tweeted you. I am definately going to add this tonight. Any suggestions on how to send email to automation/crm or autoresponder? I'm thinking of making a modal pop-up button .
Adam Harms
@daniel_friis very cool! I feel users might be less apt to give it sensitive information like passwords and credit cards numbers due to the conversional tone, though.

Awesome idea! Would be great if there were a one-click setup solution for non-techies. (ex: Wordpress plugin)
Daniel Friis
@mynhpark - Great idea! Updated the github with your suggestion https://github.com/space10-commu...
Ish Jindal
@mynhpark this might sound like a self promotion but you can do so using our tool hellotars.com - focused on non-techies. @daniel_friis am a big believer of conversational forms. Great implementation!
Sander Visser
This is great. Definitely going to use it somewhere soon 😊
Daniel Friis
@fishsander Thanks! Let us know where you'll implement it :)
Sander Visser
@daniel_friis Maybe you can add a section to the GitHub readme where people can show their implementations? Like Tachyons for example: https://github.com/tachyons-css/...
Daniel Friis
@fishsander Ah, of course. Great idea. Will add right away. Thanks
Mark Verlijsdonk
Nice idea! What happens if I make a typo? Is there a way to edit the input?
Daniel Friis
@markv86 - It's a valid point! I created an issue on github to enhance the plugin https://github.com/space10-commu...

Finally a free alternative to Typeform ! Congrats !
Daniel Friis
@steveraffner thanks! We're huge fans of Typeform, so thanks for the comparison :)
Steve RAFFNER
@daniel_friis ahah me too - but I am also a HUGER fan of brillant open sources solutions ;)

@steveraffner Check out JotForm www.jotform.com

Cool idea guys! Love just how much more appealing it is like this.
Daniel Friis
Thanks @ow ! Yeah, it's way more engaging I think :)

Cool idea, but: in your demo, I can't say "No" to the email question. The question asked is "If you want, then give me your email", and I can't _not_ put in a properly formatted email, and the bot answers with "Your input is not correct.." I don't want a bot to ever tell me "Your input is not correct.." -- ever. :)
Daniel Friis
@gloom303 - great point! Thanks. We'll definitely update the robot answers to be more 'human' :)
Ish Jindal
@daniel_friis @gloom303 you can have a "Skip" option in here just like optional questions in a form.

Have you A/B tested this yet with a regular form? What differences have you noticed? I immediately felt more willing to give information and it was almost fun lol. I could see this helping with long forms. The only bummer is when peeps have saved credentials through chrome or lastpass and they can't continue as usual. Really cool! +1 :)
Daniel Friis
@james_osullivan A/B testing this is a great idea, we haven't come around to that yet. Also, definitely want to work on implementing autofill of browsers!
Avi Zuber
This is really cool.
Sergio
This is cool. I believe this is the future of forms. We added a "conversation form" in our website investovc.com/funding but I like your interface more. How easy could it be to integrate to what we have?
Daniel Friis
@sromovc Should pretty much be plug-and-play! Your underlying form, is a regular web form, which can easily be extended by Conversational Form
