this one is a bit complex, but it's been really useful. I've been able to feed the stringified JSON of someone's professional experience into gpt, ask it to identify the date ranges of when each of the companies experienced the most success (either in revenue/headcount growth, product launches, etc.) and determine whether or not the person worked at those companies during those periods. It provides a preliminary signal on whether or not they've likely made impact at their past companies. This was for a recruiting application.
or a more simple but highly effective example is prospecting on GitHub. Users can put whatever they want for their profile location, so it's impossible to group them at any kind of scale. Feeding that unstructured text into gpt and asking it to classify the location allows you to standardize the dataset.
