Hello Producthunt! This is my very first launch 😆. I have been working on chl.li for the past month and now it's ready for the world! Since I always use URL shorteners, I decided to build one myself. I wanted it to be fast, easy to use and have a good-looking client side. I'm pretty confident in saying that I achived my goals. It took me quite a long time to brainstorm a short, somewhat memorable name and decided to go with `chl.li`, short for 'chline link' which is Swiss German and stands for 'short link', moreover, 'chlli' (chli) stands for small. How convenient :).

Nice project! But I have to say that I personally don't really trust a "privacy-first" tool which doesn't have any imprint or other legal documents available...

this is great. appreciate the just a short-ner. Do you think having the custom url would be a possibility? Also how are you going to sustain it? Ads?

@lavishsaluja A custom URL isn't on my roadmap and I currently don't know how I'd do it coding wise (let me know if you have any ideas). As to how I'll sustain this service, honestly, I really don't know. I guess ads would work, however I don't like them. I might add a donation button or something like that, and again, let me know if you have a better idea ;).

Customdomain = premium plan. Otherwise, if you don’t have retargeting, I am not sure how you can get people to pay for the service.
