Why I built CareerBoard
I am a solo founder and full-stack engineer, and I have been building CareerBoard as a product for people who want to make their job search more organized and less stressful.
The idea came from a pretty simple observation: applying to jobs is not just about sending a resume.
There is a whole process around it.
You find a vacancy,
try to understand whether it fits your profile,
adapt your resume,
write a cover letter,
track the application,
prepare for intervies,
follow up,
and decide what to do next...
But in reality, a lot of this process usually happens across browser tabs, spreadsheets, random notes, old resume versions, and copied job descriptions. It becomes messy very quickly, especially when someone applies to many roles at once.
I wanted to build a workspace where each job application can be treated more like a small project, with all the important context in one place.
CareerBoard helps you track applications, understand job fit, tailor your resume to a specific role, prepare for interviews, and keep the whole process easier to manage.
The goal is not to help people spam more applications.
The goal is to help people apply with more focus, more context, and more confidence.
