We began this journey two years ago, and it all started with a simple problem: Creating business apps was time-consuming, repetitive, and … boring. congrats on launching guys! was floored by Budibase when I was able to just throw away the onboarding/tutorial and make my own CRUD app in minutes with no training whatsoever. layer on top of that the fact that it is open source and integrates with all the things, it is a clear choice over Retool now!

In re to Retool and Stacker: - we have our own internal database so you can start from scratch with Budibase - we're open source - we have an automations section that allows you to create automations such as slack notifications, run bash scripts, trigger an Integromat integration, etc - free SSO - in re to Stacker, you can self-host Budibase on your own infrastructure. We also support more external data sources (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, MSSQL, DyanamoDB). Oh, and we support JavaScript, and our design section is more flexible. Stacker has better Airtable support IMO. - In re to Retool, you don't need to write code to build an app with Budibase. You can also build public and private apps with Budibase. And lastly, Budibase apps work on mobile and can contain multiple screens/pages, unlike Retool. This is why we say business apps rather than internal tools - Budibase outputs real Single Page Applications. I hope that helps!

Great work! Budibase is by far one of the most aesthetic and easy to use no-code platforms out there. I've been using it for a while and is my go to choice for quick idea to app use-cases by internal users. Its ability to operate with other tools and services makes it very powerful and agile.

Congrats on the launch! Budibase is a game changer for real. A low-code tool that lets you build internal applications. Lots of features and you can self host it for free too! Tried to build an HR internal platform. Worked like a charm. Though I can't yet build a fully functional platform as BB is still in beta, I've got lots of clients signed up for the platform that Budibase can potentially build. Shall I say that I've been following this project for months now, and the devs push out updates like crazy? Can't wait for an official release out of beta. Keep up the great work!
