What evidence would you need before letting an AI agent act?

AI agents are becoming capable of diagnosing problems, using tools, and executing real actions.

But intelligence does not automatically create authority. Before allowing an agent to modify a workflow, send a payment, publish content, or change production systems, what evidence would you need to see?

For example:
A dry run showing the predicted outcome?
The exact action, resource, and time window?
A human approval gate?
A single-use authorization?
An audit trail and verified readback after execution?
