Hi y'all - cofounder/CEO of StackBlitz (creators of bolt.new) here, excited to share what we've been up to on Product Hunt today! tldr: Imagine if AI dev products (Claude, v0, etc) let you install packages, run backends & edit code — that's bolt.new. And it's pretty darn slick: - Prompt, edit, run & deploy fullstack apps - Full dev env (npm, Vite, Next.js, …) w/ frontier AI - Free! You can read more about bolt.new in our announcement thread on X: x.com/stackblitz/status/... Additionally we've made the core components open source over at github.com/stackblitz/bolt.new for you to peruse, fork, etc 🙌 We've had a lot of folks in the community ask us to submit Bolt to PH who have been using the product the past few weeks, super excited for y'all to see what they've been building with it in the comments 🔥 Also can't wait to hear your thoughts on the product as well!! Let's go!

@ericsimons40 love bolt! it's so useful for me as a designer to experiment and prototype ideas. is there a public page with bolts that other people created? i see that there's "public" as a visiblity option so i'm thinking there must be a place where can i see what cool stuff other people created?

@ericsimons40 @yannschaub Hello Yann! Thanks for the kind words! We have a Community Highlight page in the works. Stay tuned!

@ericsimons40 I made this In roughly two hours. It just needs some back end fixes and data, but wow. petlynk.app

@ericsimons40 Cool. bolt is over the place, waiting for a cooldown on versioning and setup process https://linktr.ee/hypervanse

Congrats on the launch, team bolt.new! I have two questions: It's still free for now. What will the pricing look like going forward? Do I still need Cursor going forward?🤣
Eric Simons
@bonvisions Hi Bon! We have paid versions that get you more tokens available today starting at $20/mo 🙇 If you're doing direct coding/development, Cursor is amazing and you should keep using It haha!! XD

@ericsimons40 Hi, product is so cool but tokens pricing is crazy if you want to use Bolt daily, I spent 100$ in 2 days...

The best AI builder tool on the internet right now, by a mile! I've been using Bolt daily since launch and can honestly say its amazing. The product has enabled me to build and ship real products and I haven't touched a line of code. I was a dev 15+ years ago so that might help, but honestly, anyone can ship with this tool. The team behind it and especially @ericsimons40 have supported the product well and always open and listening to use feednack. Every day it improves and I know there's so much more to come. Give it a try but beware, its addictive! I built https://ChilledCRM.com with bolt - 100% all bolt and no human code at all!

Congrats to the team, I love bolt! Is it in the roadmap to make it possible to work with existing projects?
Eric Simons
@manu_hortet 100%! You can import stackblitz projects today, and you can also import public github repos too (w/ private repo support in the works!): https://x.com/stackblitz/status/...

Just awesome! I have been being around with this product for a while and Ima tell you what "It does coding right". I think I don't need to worry about UX and UI stuff anymore as a full-stack developer. I just prompt what I picture in bear mind and bolt gives me the result better than expected.

Saw this like 2-3 weeks back, great progress honestly!
Johan Steneros
Tried it out briefly and seems pretty amazing. I have a pending task to investigate it further and try to build something more complete.
Rajat
Used this yesterday - it is crazy good!

Congrats on such a fantastic addition to StackBlitz! This makes prototyping and iterating so much faster
