Hello PH folks! 🚀 We are super excited to launch Boggl today! Boggl helps simplify the experience of product managers writing product requirement documents (PRDs) 🌞 During my experience as a PM, I realised that whenever I had to start a PRD, I had a blank-page-staring problem 👀! Very quickly I realised, it’s not just me! PMs need a good rhythm and momentum for requirements to flow out like a poem out of their Hemmingway minds 🎶. However, the blank screen of a new Google document or MS Word document can only be helplessly stared at 🤯. Here is how we stand out 🧞‍♂️: ⍼ Curated Formats for PRDs Kick-start your PRD with preset formats based on how detailed it should be. Each format is a guided experience with all the necessary sections such as personas, metrics user stories, acceptance criteria built-in. 👨‍🚀👨‍🏭 Collaborate with Designers & Developers Comment & Assign user stories &/or features to your team members through unique links - either through Boggl or any existing project management app. 🎯 Track Metrics Documents come alive! on publishing - Track metrics, 🚀Feature Launches, User stories & more on centralised dashboards. 🎭 Persona Cards Create persona cards that capture essential customer data & can be reused across your product space. 📖 Auto-Generate Test cases Give your QA team a head start by extracting test cases from your user stories 📜 Auto-Export to Google Docs Want to share your PRD outside your org? No worries, we have you covered! 🔀 Create multiple Products within your Workspace Our architecture is built in such a way that your PRDs are organically sorted within product spaces & appropriate modules to ease document discovery. 🧐 Curious to see how it works? Check it out at https://www.boggl.app 💫

I'm still using GItHub projects and I think they're pretty bad but they integrate directly with my code base so I don't see a reason to abandon them.
Swarna Hebbar
@kingromstar Thank you for your thoughts Rami! We are planning integration with Jira, Asana etc. GitHub is an interesting perspective though- in what manner do you require your product requirements to integrate with your code base?
Rami
@swarna_hebb I take advantage of the ticket closing capabilities and being able to track the work alongside the history of the code base, which is where I store all of the docs as well, is paramount.
Swarna Hebbar
@kingromstar That is interesting, Rami! Thank you for your insights! 💫❤️ We are built to integrate with other project management tools as well. I would encourage you to give Boggl a try & you might find it eases the process of outlining your requirements & create bite sized features/stories (links)- & if you are pleased with the interface, you will be able to store your requirements in the form of links on Github. Would love your thoughts on your test run on Boggl!

@kingromstar this is exactly the case with most teams. "This thing isn't perfect but it does the job and it integrates". I don't see how PM and PO only tools hope to replace this.

I have been following this for a while and am excited that it is launched today. I think it is crazy that when there is a Saas for everything, we still have to write archaic documents on MS word for product requirements. Few of my favorite features in Boggl are tracking metrics, persona cards, and auto-generation of test cases from the user stories! I have already used this app several times as Beta user and it saves my time and gives a structure for every PRD I create. Fellow PMs, this is what we needed!

@bharath_keshav Thank you for your continued support throughout our journey! It has been beyond invaluable! Hope Boggl is able to fulfil your product needs now & in the future! ❤️💫

How would you reply to the suggestion that this is a feature or just a template, and not a product? A whole other tool for a team to use just for PRDs is a pretty tough sell.
Swarna Hebbar
@tim_meta thanks for the comment Tim! Wrt the 2nd comment, it's true that a lot of teams are already married to several project management systems. Though from a product perspective, these systems are disconnected from the core of product- which is the 'source of truth' documentation- and product folks often have to rework across different systems. Product owners who are able to convert their teams to a more efficient workflow with Boggl would find it worth the effort! If that is a challenge, we can be integrated in existing workflows as well. Wrt the 1st comment, you'd see when you explore Boggl, that we are introducing a product ecosystem that bubbles up from PRDs, giving visibility and insights to data that is otherwise lost and auto generating supporting documentation to quicken processes that otherwise take weeks to complete. let me know if this makes sense! Happy to do a quick demo as well to gather more insights from you!

@swarna_hebbar thanks for the reply but I don't understand your answer. There's already a feeling of too many tools, and each team having something different, so you need to address this fact in plain language. - teams already have too many different tools - teams already ignore siloed information (Jira, Confluence, Google Docs, Hubspot, wherever) - teams already are being told to cut back on their SaaS tool spend - product teams don't win friends by adding new tools Most execs just want to see a powerpoint. Most PRDs are still Microsoft Word, Google Docs or a Confluence page. And the majority of tools build for product managers alone, that aren't of value to the other team, fail. These are harsh facts but still facts.
