blogstatic is a powerful no-code blogging tool. With the recent launch of the proprietory DesignStudio, bloggers can customize their blog's styles and fonts and match them to their brand or existing website.
Hey friends ๐
Val here again, founder of blogstatic.io.
Since its first successful PH launch in December 2022, blogstatic has grown by leaps and bounds, evolving from a simple blogging tool with only a handful of basic features to a full-fledged blogging platform with various breakthrough options.
I say 'breakthrough' to emphasize how a solo maker can make a significant impact in the market by truly listening to clients and coming up with innovative solutions for them.
๐ โโ๏ธ A true Noโcode tool ๐ โโ๏ธ
Customizations and code injections have been a part of blogstatic since day one, reflecting my commitment to empowering clients to easily modify their blogs. However, making these modifications wasn't always easy because clients had to write CSS code, which, even for those who do it daily, was still a bit tedious.
... enter DesignStudio! ๐จ
DesignStudio is something entirely new to blogstatic and the blogging market in general. What it does is give clients the possibility to easily change styles and fonts through color pickers, drop-down selections, and sliders. Both for light and dark modes.
The best part is that modified styles and fonts are interchangeable between themes, so the client can quickly switch between theme structures and still maintain the integrity of their modifications.
๐ฅ Pricing as a Feature ๐ฅ
Yes! blogstatic still maintains the most affordable pricing in the market while going toe-to-toe with market leaders and sometimes exceeding them โ with the sole idea of making blogstatic accessible to all and a noโbrainer to start with.
๐ง So what other things can you do with blogstatic nowadays?
A lot! โ
โ Run your blog on the /subfolder of your main domain
โ Enjoy the privacy-focused Plausible Analytics included for free
โ Select between self-generated social media cards or your posts' defaults
โ Select from the vast library of Google Variable Fonts while customizing your blog
โ Insert pre-generated CTAs anywhere on your posts
โ Send out Newsletters and check your stats
โ Include a TOC to a post with links leading to H2 and H3 titles in the post
โ Include Galleries on posts through multiple editor elements
โ Include Footnotes with anchor links leading to the marker and back
โ Utilize the non-auth JSON API to bend and twist your content externally
โ Embed the latest posts on an external website through a simple modifiable script
โ Include top-menu buttons that can resemble authentication buttons
โ ...and so much more!
blogstatic is still here, because of the support from clients and other makers!
๐ฃ Here's what some of them had to say ๐ฃ๏ธ
โ "I am moving our blog over from WP, and every time I do something with blogstatic, I love it more. This is a fantastic product, and customer support is stellar." โ Peggy
โ "A great company with great support and a plethora of features at a solid price!" โ Surojit
โ "blogstatic is simple to manage yet includes a fantastic number of custom options to make my blog truly mine." โ Wil
โ "Val at blogstatic truly cares about his product and that in itself makes it one of the best and simplest blog platforms you can add to any website." โ Alex
โ "A well priced powerful blogging service run by a really good human being." โ Shantesh
๐ That's it for now! ๐
Please, explore blogstatic.io and feel free to ask me any direct questions about blogstatic and I'll make sure to answer them all the best way I possibly can.
Thank you for reading this far and a giganticโmajor thanks for supporting this launch ๐
@kjosephabraham Thank you so much for the well wishes, Joseph ๐ They mean a ton.
When the product first soft-launched way back in April 2021, it was a simple app serving blogs with static files. The static part has since evolved, because while benchmarking with cached versions the difference was minimal and sometimes better in favor of cached versions. Also, the truly static (serving files from the server) became harder as other elements were introduced (categories, authors, etc.) JS injecting was still needed, to keep the integrity intact, which made the static part unnecessary and sometimes a gimmick.
However, the name has remained.
You can find a bunch of these stories on my personal blog and my podcast.

@valsopi Congrats on the continued growth of blogstatic.io! It sounds like DesignStudio is a great addition that empowers users with more control over blog aesthetics without needing to write code. Here are some questions and how I can help:
- Are there any plans to offer pre-made design templates within DesignStudio for users who might not want to customize everything themselves?
- How does DesignStudio ensure that user-made style changes translate well to mobile views of the blog?
As a developer, I'm interested in the technical aspects behind DesignStudio and the no-code customization features. If those align with my expertise (e.g., front-end development, UI/UX), I might be able to contribute to future development of blogstatic.
Overall, blogstatic.io seems like a powerful and user-friendly blogging platform, especially with the addition of DesignStudio. The focus on affordability and innovation is commendable. I'll definitely check out DesignStudio and see how it simplifies blog customization!
I'm a longterm, happy customer of blogstatic!
If some of you follow me on X you can see that I often recommend it.
Why I like it:
- SUPER easy to get started
- easy to customize
- excellent customer support
- themes look great
- affordable

Congrats on the launch, @valsopi!
@gregoiregilbert Such a great testimonial ๐ Thank you, Greg! Your feedback has been super helpful throughout and has no doubt helped in improving blogstatic.
Your blog looks great ๐ค and I love getting your newsletters. Super concise and straight to the point. Absolutely love it!
Congrats on the launch! I've been looking for an easy blog solution that we could place in a subdirectory of our upcoming product domain. Is it possible to leave comments to articles in Blogstatic?
@pavel_bocharov Thanks so much for your good words, Pavel. That is great to hear about your upcoming website and running your blog on the /subdirectory of your root domain. blogstatic is the perfect solution for that. Commenting is not currently possible out of the box, but you can include something like Disqus or any other third party elements. Code injections are possible in blogstatic.
@kostyabolsh Absolutely. And blogstatic covers the setting up part. Creating a blog that works fast and has all the tools necessary. The SEO writing, distribution, etc. are up to the writer.
@kostyabolsh thanks a ton Kostya. So far holding at #5. Fingers crossed it keeps going at this rate.

Congrats on the launch, Val!! So this is what you were cooking in these last months. So exciting ๐ฅณ I wish you and blogstatic all the best, you deserve it! ๐ Keep it up!
@mattiarighetti Yes, Mattia ๐ค it's been in the works for about 2.5 months and quite well accepted by the client base, I must say. Thank you so much for all the good words. I appreciate you ๐
Wow, this is such great news for someone like me without a technical background! blogstatic makes it super easy for me to create a blog, exactly what I needed. The interface is so simple and clear, love it!
@nicoleastor That is so good to hear, Nicole. Happy that it suits your needs. Ping me on blogstatic chat if you give it a try and have any questions in the process. Again, thank you!
Love it Val!
Congrats on the launch! DesignStudio looks dope!
And it's awesome to see your commitment to keeping things affordable while still offering powerful features. The demo content is super nifty, great idea. ๐ก
Kudos to you for listening to your users and continuously improving. Looking forward to seeing where blogstatic goes from here!
Also, I hope Tennis practice went well ๐
@mfahle Marcel, thanks for watching the video! ๐ I usually go for a 6km walk while my son is playing, but today was a special day and I needed to to launch lol.
Thank you so much man for the good words around affordability โ which I'm trying super hard to keep. Hope the client base keeps growing so the pricing stays the same ๐
Listening to clients has been super powerful. And it's not just a one-way listening exercise and then executing on command, but truly prodding the request and asking a ton of "whys". Lucky to have clients who are just as dedicated and want their blog to look and work perfectly!
@valsopi Yea, and the other thing about the video, which was great by the way: don't freaking overthink it!
I'd probably be handicapped by first scripting it, setting up light, mics, practicing, hair, makeup :D don't overthink it, sit in the car outside of tennis and hit record! Love this!
Looks great! Congrats on this huge update! Switching between different themes is definitely a huge plus and I love how you make it so easy for non-technical bloggers!
@kehui_guo I'm super happy you think so, Kehui. I totally forgot to mention in the video that custom styles are interchangeable between themes. Thanks for pointing that out ๐ค

Congrats on the big launch Val. I'm sure all the hard work will be worth it ๐ช
@gjergji_ramku Thank you so much, Gjergji! It's been a solid 2.5 months of trying to turn a beast of a function into a simple tool that hopefully makes sense ๐ So far the response has been super motivating, which I'm super grateful for.
