Hi everyone, the idea of Bart has been cooking up for many many years, and today I have launched the first version ready for primetime. I am now looking to gain traction so more and more communities give the new-ish concept of Bart a shot - and accelerate a new social economy that supports each other. Today's economy is harsh, and I believe Bart could help us all live better lives if we support each other.

Finally tried bart and the credit system feels way less awkward than bartering with cash, especially since you start with that one credit to test the waters.

Started with just one credit but actually found someone to fix my bike within a day. Love that the credit system makes it feel less weird to ask for help from strangers.

This is a cool twist on bartering, love that you start with one credit so no one gets stuck. One thing that would help a lot: a way to filter or search listings by skill category and availability in your area. Right now it sounds like you'd have to scroll through everything to find someone who actually offers what you need nearby.

honestly this is kind of a cool concept, like trading piano lessons for help with taxes sounds way better than paying cash. the 1 credit start is a nice touch too, makes it easy to just dive in

Finally a way to trade skills without Venmo-ing people for favors. The 1 credit thing is kind of sweet, kind of like a community handshake that actually means something. Curious to see if it sticks in smaller groups though.
