1 year, a dozen pivots, and a whole lot of "backend plumbing." 🚀
When we started Baack 12 months ago, the vision was simple: stop developers from spending 80% of their time fighting API boss-battles and content logic so they could actually build products.
It hasn’t been a straight line, but looking back at where we started vs. where we are today is incredible.
A quick look at the Baack timeline:
🔹 Sept 2025: We laid the foundations—API endpoints, RBAC, and our core Image API.
🔹 Dec 2025: Our first major live integration (Xero to HubSpot) proved we could handle real-world stress.
🔹 April 2026: We unlocked rich, context-aware collaboration with Message Threads.
🔹 May 2026: A massive month—we were finalists in the Lord-Lieutenant’s Entrepreneurs Challenge, launched our QR tool, and rolled out webhooks to over 80% of our API surface.
🔹 June 2026: We officially launched on DevHunt and ProductHunt and released Full Content History, giving creators that much-needed "undo" button with visibility into the full content lifecycle.
We started by trying to solve niche problems, but we learned that the real pain isn't just in the integration, it's in the agility of the entire digital experience. That’s why we’ve pivoted to a platform that prioritizes "content agility" giving teams the tools to build fast, iterate often, and stay consistent across every channel.
Thank you to every adviser, early tester, and sceptic who pushed us to be better. We are just getting started.
