Wouldn't the obvious killer application of AI here be a proxy for summarizing and composing responses? I,e "Alice wants to know about the Q2 budget, what should I tell her?"
Definitely, this is part of the roadmap! Here are some of our high-level thoughts on what AI can do for email, if you're interested:
This is the first email app that I actually like using! Thanks team Astro
Started using Astro on Tuesday and I can't imagine going back to Inbox by Gmail! My favorites: - Priority Inbox with notifications that matter - Astrobot reminding me to unsubscribe and detecting questions to be answered Waiting for calendar integration and the ability to open links in Chrome for iOS.
I love it. So clean and simple!
and team great work! Just started using it a day ago and a big fan of it! A clean and elegant interface!
Thank you Jay -- we appreciate that, and look forward to more feedback (incl at ). Also please keep your eyes open for an interesting new Astro feature coming next week... :-)
Great App! I've been looking for the perfect app on Apple devices for years and finally feel like Astro has achieved my expectations. It has all the functionalities we expect from a strong email app (snooze, email receipts, push, unified inbox, etc.) but without lacking in other areas like stability and simplicity. Keep the good work and I hope that the business model you are planning is on paying for the app and not on a subscription level.

Hope business model isn't subscription

Pros:

Stable, great design, lots of functionalities

Cons:

Email providers, background fetch on iOS

I'm in love, and I HATE email clients. You have to try it to understand!

Pros:

Clean UI, So smart, Efficient, Pretty, Tracks emails!

Cons:

None so far
