This is such a welcomed addition to the realm of design. Kudos to the entire team. I would like to see two important facets added though. 1) The ability to Sign in With Apple 2) Free upgrades for nonprofit organizations. Perhaps for NPOs with annual budgets of 2m or less.

Congrats on the launch, and great introductory video! How would you position Artboard next to Figma? Is it meant to complement it or is a type of more basic tool that generalists should be able to pick up and start using immediately?

Thanks for your kind words. Artboard is for motion designers, Figma is for product designers. They are definitely complementary tools. You can create your UI with Figma but if you need animation you can jump in Artboard. We are even planning on making a plugin to move Figma projects to Artboard. Withi video and animation features, we are also targeting marketing designers or agencies. But the feature set of Figma not enough for these type of users.

We have been using Jitter for all our micro animations and recently used it for our ph intro Video. But if Artboard gives us the pen tool and is way simpler than Ae it will be a game changer. I can't wait to try it out, congrats on the launch!

Hi Prineel, we have a pentool, and it works very similar to Figma and Adobe Illustrator. And YOU CAN ANIMATE them as you like. Just give Artboard a try, you will love it ;
