Apples to Apples - Compare any country, state, or city on indicators — instant

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm the maker of Apples-to-Apples, and I have a confession: I don't have a CS degree. A year ago I couldn't write code. Today I have 5 live products — all built solo using AI tools (Claude + Cursor). I built Apples-to-Apples because I was tired of people arguing online about which country is "better" without looking at any actual data. So I pulled data from IMF, UN, UNDP, and World Bank and built a tool where anyone can compare regions instantly. Some things that surprised me while building this: → Japan's longest-living prefecture isn't Okinawa — it's Shiga → Mississippi's GDP per capita is higher than the UK's → Some Chinese cities score higher on HDI than several EU countries The whole site is 728KB, hosted free on GitHub Pages, with zero backend.
