The Biggest Developments from WWDC26
by•
The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC26) kicks off June 8.
It's Tim Cook's last big event as CEO, and the company is expected to use the occasion to present a complete overhaul of Siri, the voice assistant that's been built into every iPhone since October 2011. Starting with iOS 27, Siri is expected to look a lot more like OpenAI's ChatGPT or Anthropic's Claude.
What's the Apple development (rumored or realized) you're most excited about?

@chrismessina wow - super interesting.
definitely curious about the Siri overhaul. it’s felt like talking to a brick wall for a decade, so seeing it handle real, conversational context will be wild if they actually pull it off.
Today, Siri is the worst IA is ever used. And I am early adopter.
@Apple acquiring @Raycast 👀
@fmerian Definitely score that one in the rumor column!
We all know that they can still get away with a great demo that falls apart in real use. They've done it twice already and people keep buying iPhones.
Hope no more battery drain due to Liquid Glass :)
