miCoach Smart Soccer Ball - Improve your game via connected soccer ball

Wow, $299 soccer ball (sold in the Apple store). This looks really fun but I'm skeptical how well it will improve my game.

Suprised this coming from Addidas and not Nike. Addidas was very slow in moving into fitness apps & connected things space. This for me is a WOW as a fitness and tech product! Will I use it? Probably not, as I rarely play alone with the wall. Marketing it to kids & teenagers probably the right move. I guess the next thing in football(a.k.a. soccer) is connected shoes that show how much passes/shots you've made during the match and your speed/movement breakdown. This one I would buy :)

@Keeran25 I've played at one of those academies. Unfortunately, $299 per ball is not something they can afford.
