by•
A truly Markdown-first workspace with real-time collaboration, inline linking, native file embedding, and AI integration. No proprietary formats. No lock-in. Just structured Markdown that scales from personal notes to team knowledge.

Hey everyone 👋
I built AnySlate because I was tired of powerful ideas being locked inside proprietary formats, artificial abstractions, and pricing models that only go up as competition disappears.
Markdown is simple, portable, AI-friendly, and future proof. Yet most modern tools either wrap it in hidden formats or quietly move away from it.
AnySlate is truly Markdown first. Not Markdown compatible.
* Inline page to page linking in native Markdown
* Native image and file embedding directly in Markdown structure
* A powerful block editor experience similar to modern workspace tools
* Real time collaboration
* Secure sharing and publishing
* Version history built into the core
Everything stays in real Markdown. No proprietary schema. No export anxiety. No lock in.
I also believe creative infrastructure should not drift toward monopoly pricing. When ecosystems consolidate, pricing becomes leverage. AnySlate is built around transparent and sustainable pricing that respects creators and teams.
This is only the beginning. Especially as we expand into MCP-powered workflows and AI native collaboration.
I would genuinely love feedback from developers, writers, teams, and AI power users.
What would make this your default Markdown workspace?

Has anyone actually tried connecting an AI agent (Claude, Cursor, Windsurf) to their notes? What broke?

@anyslate_io Are you planning on launching a mobile app for it? Because I have tried so many markdowns, but none of them was really what I was looking for! Or it was way too complicated to integrate. I just want a simple Markdown file that I can access on the phone, publish without others seeing what I publish, and keep only for my own reference, so that I can access it anywhere.
