This is product is just unbelievably well executed - wow. I gave it a good test on the web interface and iPhone but they also have a new iPad version. I would love to know what stack they use.

I've been using Airtable but it is not a Spreadsheet killer. It is a visual database with advanced features. In my opinion, blocks is the killer feature. So it should be free.
@reubenpressman Coming soon. Basically you will be able to configure a view that is a chart (or a calendar, map, etc) instead of just a grid of data, and you'd be able to specify filters and group by statements. We may also integrate with 3rd party charting providers (ie Chart.io). Thoughts? Feel free to drop me a line at howie @ airtable.com if you want to discuss further!

We're using it to manage our sales leads, press contacts and beta schedule. It's been brilliant and I particularly love the mobile app and being able to relate fields to make consolidated groups of content like feedback per industry group.
Despite their free tier offering everything we need right now, I *want* to give Airtable my money! I suggest you do too :)
Also, Airtable's support has been nothing short of exemplary and I hear they're implementing some of the feature requests we've put through!
I like to describe Airtable as spreadsheets on steroids. It's a Google Docs-esque approach to database management for people who really don't understand databases. But even if you do understand databases you'll enjoy the speed and flexibility of this web tool and its apps.
I use Airtable to track a number of projects and activities. It's far more effective than spreadsheets and allows you to quickly group data together in a way that makes more sense than you can get with other clumsy methods in other spreadsheet programs.
Some of the rich formatting options are particularly nice, like hyperlinking URL fields and showing uploaded photos.
Every serious professional should add Airtable to their toolbox.
Pros:
Powerful, flexible, user-friendly, customizable, fast, great offering at the free tier
I am absolutely in love with Airtable. As a developer, I like thinking about data in a structural way, think sql, and Airtable allows me to work with non-developer folks in a platform that feels like something I want to work in. It integrates with TONS of other platforms, and Zapier. I have used it in all of my roles for the last few years and will continue to be a personal and professional customers. Keep up the awesome work, Airtable!
