πŸš€ We just added a fun new way to make social media a little healthier with AirJump.

Now, before opening apps like Instagram, AirJump can gently interrupt the habit loop with a few simple options:

β€’ take a deep breath
β€’ do 5 quick jumps
β€’ or skip opening the app altogether

The idea isn’t to restrict people β€” it’s to make screen time a little more intentional and turn small moments into movement.

Curious to hear what you think πŸ™Œ

Small friction like this actually works better than hard limits , it makes people aware of the habit without feeling blocked . The simplicity of options is a nice touch.

@liam_bailey2Β Exactly πŸ™Œ That’s what we were going for. Thanks for the thoughtful feedback!

Nice approach , instead of blocking usage, it adds a small behavioral pause which is usually more effective long term .

Turning habit loops into micro actions feels practical and non intrusive.

This is a clever approach because it doesn’t fight the habit directly it just insert a tiny pause where autopilot usually takes over. That small interruption is often enough to make people choose more consciously instead of just opening the app by reflex.

@isabel__grayΒ Exactly πŸ™Œ That small pause makes all the difference. Thanks for the great insight!

This feels really nice. Curious though β€” any hiccups with the animation between the jump screen and returning to the app?

David Firouzbakht

@xiangbin_zhuangΒ Yes πŸ™Œ The transition is designed to be smooth and lightweight. Thanks for the great question!

the friction has to be just enough to make you pause but not so much that you disable it after 2 days. thats the hardest balance with these kinds of tools. do most users actually keep it on long term

David Firouzbakht

@tina_chhabraΒ Totally agree πŸ™Œ That balance is the hardest part. We’re testing it carefully to make sure it stays helpful, not annoying. Appreciate the thoughtful question!
