Two months ago, I'd never heard of Product Hunt. When I told people we were launching here, they told me to keep my expectations in check.

Fast forward to today: #1 Product of the Day and #1 Productivity Tool of the Week.


The journey was chaotic, humbling, and honestly surreal. If you'd told me this would happen, I wouldn't have believed you.

I’m a first timer here and decided to launch on Product Hunt after a 1,5 weeks of building the product. In hindsight I could have planned it better but the bonus is seeing all these wonderful products like yours. Very interested to learn how you went about the launch and getting sign ups. Congratulations on such a successful launch!

Congrats! As an app maker, what did you have in place for social media before launch? Also, how did you approach PH? Was this on other platforms before you got to PH?

we did have our LinkedIn and X page where we posted 1 week before that we are gonna go live on PH and also on the PH day we kept posting status updates

there’s no guarantee but I think clean graphics and demo does play a part

Can you share how you made it at your first launch? Like how you prepare, how you call support, etc.

 going through other comments will answer some of your questions. But, it does need preparation. Getting the graphics done, nailing the messaging, and making sure at least some people know and like your product beforehand.

 you mean support from the product hunt team? I just emailed them to feature us, that's all. And that too we didn't get featured on the day of our choice but rather on a saturday.

So, no strategy here actually.

First of all many many congratulations 👏👏 How to publish product here, is there any criteria to launch a product here.
I think official docs can stipulate the requirements.. I didn’t come across any such requirements. We had a product, we launched.

Does the UI important for the first launch?
