Nice overview in . I've heard great things about Herman Miller but not sure I could justify $780.
have you sat in one ? If yes, have you used one all day? These chairs are akin to softly but with subtle firmness being slowly cradled in front of your desk by the Greek gods Aengus and Eutchia !
agree w/ until you've sat in one for 8+ hrs and then used something else you cant see the value. It's worth all $780+.
the chair is magical. I'm lucky enough to have one under my *ss all day @ work. I would not exchange it for anything.
I bought a used one a few years ago from a office that was going out of business. I've never sat in a chair like this before. I will happily spend the money to get a new one. If you sit in a chair all day, your body will thank you if you sit in this chair. You have to try one out, it's simply wonderful!
I've had one for a decade and there's not a blemish on it. Considering the Bajillion hours I've spent comfortably working from it $780 is the deal of a century. Also, I think I paid about that much for it back then. So the price has barely budged. :)
It's weird to watch this while sitting in the "old" Aeron chair.

I, too, moved on from the cube farm, but not this chair, this was the one thing the cube farms got right :)
Getting accustomed to the idea - maybe a different color will lessen the association! (Actually cube farm was very good to me...)
When you consider promotional videos for apps and phones, there's always a kind of novelty expressed through sleekness, speed, or invention. How do you make a mundane object like a chair () as interesting as one of these high tech experiences or devices? Herman Miller seems to be trying that with the new Aeron chair:

Pretty awesome, I'm just in the market for a chair however the downside is in order to try any type of Herman Miller chair it's a 3+ hour drive.

I have an old Aeron that was given to me. I want to love it. But it is fairly uncomfortable. I wish I could take it to Herman Miller to make sure there's not something wrong with it (or me) and test out this new version. Unfortunately, the nearest place that I've found is 5+ hours away :/
Buy them used at a significant discount. If you need to know how, I'll give the tricks of the trade to do so.

Have a used one that cost about half that. Easily the best office chair I've ever sat in. The salesman also pointed out that in addition to support for the back, the chair actually helps with blood flow to the legs. If this new chair is anywhere close to the legacy version, I'm sure it will be in high demand.
