Hey how is different from directly using shadcn, magicui ,aceternity UI etc ??
Serafim
@jalajdu Great question! 21st.dev isn’t a library itself—it’s a marketplace for component libraries, individual components, and design engineers to share their work. Instead of being tied to one style or framework, it allows developers to discover, use, and even contribute high-quality components from various creators.
Daniel Dhawan
@jalajdu basically because design engineers can publish their own components, we have the largest lib of unique components that can't be found elsewhere

Cool stuff for UI inspiration! If this website will generate same amount of traffic as Pinterest generate for me... this will be grate as well! ;)

The API's responsiveness is impressive—getting polished components with minimal latency enhances productivity. Pairing it with tools like Apidog has further optimized my development process.

looks promising! any plans to support other frameworks?
Serafim
@artyshatilov Thanks, Arty! Supporting other frameworks is definitely something we’re considering for the future. For now, we’re focusing on perfecting the experience for Tailwind and React users. Are there any frameworks in particular you’d like to see supported?

Is it gonna be free forever?
Serafim
@vkitaev Great question! The core library will always remain free. In the future, we’re planning to follow a model similar to Figma Community—there will be free components, but also premium ones where designers and developers can sell their pro components. We’ll take a small commission to support the platform. What do you think about this model? Would it work for you?
