Twitter acted on its promise to remove legacy blue ticks from those who don’t pay the $8 a month charge. Starting yesterday, people across the site noticed their verification badges had vanished. This has led to a lot of suggestions on the future of verification, including one very familiar method. 

We’ve all seen what AI can do. From reviewing code to generating music and turning a simple text prompt into video, it’s all become a little mind-blowing. What if we told you that AI can now work with AI? 

Stick with us here. The folks behind MyGPT just launched Camel AGI, a new tool that allows different AI agents to talk to one another about any topic.

When you launch Camel AGI, you’re presented with two customizable AI agents. Each one gets assigned a role, such as “Elon Tusk” and a “Space Y scientist”, and from there, you assign a topic for them to discuss. Then you can sit back and watch as your two AI friends discuss, collaborate, and evaluate solutions to solve your task. 

It’s like AI squared, or as one of the makers Ankur Singh put it, it’s “like role-playing for BabyAGI and AutoGPT”

Two is better than one: We’ve all heard the phrase less is more, but when it comes to AI, that may not be true. Think of it like brainstorming with a team member. You have an idea, they have an idea, and you both come together to (hopefully) make a better idea out of the two. 

It’s the same concept. Two agents come together, discuss and learn from each other with the goal of coming up with the best solution possible. 

It also opens the door to more conversational use cases like building NPC characters for a game, automating script writing, or even researching public opinion.
