Why are products not appearing on the main page when launched?

I've seen several discussions in the last two weeks about many products remaining in the 'new' section and not making it to the main page. Could the moderation rules have changed? Or perhaps there's a return to the approach with 'Hunters,' as it seems that Hunters could immediately feature a product on the main page.

following, needs to know about this. Dont you think if there is any new moderation rules then it should be mentioned within the PH launch guides ?

@istiakahmad Yes, I think they should add this to the rules so that everyone understands the conditions.

I think PH is always tweaking how it works. Nothing stays the same. Maybe get a famous hunter to ensure the featured spot isn't such a bad idea now.
There are a lot of people facing these issues, and strangely PH support isn't responding either, which adds fuel to the fire.
Some algo game I guess.
Hey Julia! It seems like there have been some changes in the way products are featured on the main page. I'm actually planning to launch my own product soon and I've noticed the same trend. I've also noticed this issue. My friends' product was launched last week and wasn't on the main page for the first few hours. Perhaps there are some technical changes on the Product Hunt website
