Organic Social Media and Paid Social Media – they should be besties

Paid social media posts are shown to a target audience, meaning new people who are likely to be interested in you (and are ready to spend that money $). Organic posts (like this one) are free content without any paid promotion. No targeting options. To be honest, I don't even know who will read this post. (OK, I reckon that it will be my followers of people who found me through the exploration page or Community Discussions.) 1️⃣ First, set clear goals and objectives Otherwise, your campaign won't have any structure. If you haven't seen any social media goals here are a few examples: ✅ Increase brand awareness ✅ Drive traffic ✅ Generate leads ✅ Boost sales ✅ Increase engagement 2️⃣ You have to know who your audience is To learn more about your target audience, you can do surveys, look at social media analytics, and dive into Google Analytics. 3️⃣ Set audience targeting Every social media platform has different targeting options. And you can focus on broad or specific audiences. Example: ✅ FB allows you to target users based on criteria like interests, age, and location. ✅ TikTok's targeting is based on interest and behaviours, spending power, household income, and hashtags. 4️⃣ Set an ad budget There's no real limit to the amount you can spend running paid social advertising. But I recommend starting with a small budget. Then, if your ads do well, scale! 5️⃣ Set your retargeting structure To use retargeting, you need to set up a pixel. Here's how retargeting works: A visitor views a page on your website ➡️ They exit the page ➡️ They log into FB ➡️ Products from your website are displayed as paid social ads 6️⃣ Design eye-catching ads Stick to your brand identity, use consistent colours, add high-resolution images and videos, and write good copy. And encourage clicks on your CTA. 7️⃣ Measure your campaigns Most major social media platforms come with built-in analytics that let you measure and assess the impact of your campaigns. Good one! I believe Paid Social media needs some requirements first to be successful: already have brand awareness spread and definitely having PMF. Cheers Nika!

Absolutely! Organic and paid social media can complement each other effectively in a well-rounded marketing strategy. Organic efforts, such as regular posts, engagement with followers, and building a community, help establish a genuine brand presence. On the other hand, paid social media, through targeted ads and promotions, can amplify reach, drive specific actions, and boost visibility to a wider audience.

@busmark_w_nika what metrics do you use to measure brand awareness?
Business Marketing with Nika
@ricardo_goulart On these, we usually used forms or there are specialised groups of people and they are tested if they recall the brand.

Absolutely! Organic and paid social media strategies complement each other perfectly. While organic efforts build brand authenticity and engagement, paid campaigns can amplify reach and drive targeted traffic.

Organic Social Media and Paid Social Media – they should be besties indeed! Both organic and paid strategies play unique yet complementary roles in a robust social media marketing plan. Organic social media efforts are like the heart and soul of your online presence. They involve creating compelling content, engaging with your audience, and building genuine relationships. This authenticity is what sets the foundation for trust and loyalty among your followers. Platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter thrive on organic interactions, allowing businesses to showcase their personality, values, and expertise. On the other hand, paid social media amplifies your reach and accelerates your growth. It's like giving your organic efforts a turbo boost. Through targeted advertising, you can precisely reach your desired audience based on demographics, interests, and behaviors. This ensures that your content gets in front of the right people at the right time, driving traffic, leads, and conversions. But here's the thing – organic and paid social media shouldn't operate in silos. They should collaborate, synergize, and complement each other's strengths. For instance, you can use organic content to test ideas, gauge audience reactions, and identify what resonates best. Then, you can allocate your paid budget towards promoting top-performing organic posts, maximizing their visibility and impact. By integrating both approaches, you create a holistic social media strategy that leverages the power of authenticity and precision targeting. It's a dynamic duo that yields superior results, whether you're looking to boost brand awareness, drive sales, or foster meaningful connections with your audience. If you're looking to supercharge your social media presence, consider partnering with experts like DNOX Social Media Marketing (https://dnoxsmm.com/).
