Since I've been trying to up my LinkedIn game, I want to connect with the most prominent people on the platform. (Ideally, in the marketing field.)
LinkedIn was primarily a B2B platform or a platform for getting a job (HR segment), but I can see more emerging creators and influencers/stars, who can earn money from sponsorships. If you know how to treat the content, you can get a chance to stand out and create posts that bring you results.
I'm excited about this update: I keep seeing creators on IG and TT selling courses and spreadsheets to help you manage how you use your credit cards. So I gave it a try and built a feature to help with that for Norte users: It's a new Planner view that lets you compare your cards side-by-side for a specific scenario: coverage and points, using your actual wallet.
No recommendations, no scores. Just the fact that you would normally calculate by hand. Would love feedback from anyone who optimize cards or travel often.
Hot off the press! OSS AI coding assistant @Kilo Code just announced a $8 Million raise in seed funding.
@scobreit wrote in their blog announcement:
This funding accelerates our roadmap: smarter multi-agent collaboration, enterprise-grade tooling for technical leaders, and a feature set that continues to accelerate the AI flywheel for development teams using Kilo.
I ve been talking to a bunch of creators lately and noticed a pattern. Most spend a surprising amount of time searching through Google Trends, YouTube trending, X, Reddit, etc just to find one or two solid content ideas.
Some said they lose 1 to 2 hours a day. Others feel like they keep spotting trends only after they re already saturated.
Hey everyone! The response since launch has honestly blown me away. Thank you to everyone who tried Norte, asked questions, and shared feedback. I wanted to give a quick update on what s new and what we re learning: What s new
Plan-specific claim steps
When you add a trip or rental, Norte now shows the exact claim requirements for your card. No guesswork when things go sideways.
We did it - Buglet finished #9 on Product Hunt yesterday!
I just wanted to drop a quick thank-you to everyone who supported the launch - upvoted, commented, gave feedback, or simply checked out Buglet. It genuinely means a lot
Most people miss out on card perks, pay for coverage they already have, or lose receipts when they need them most. Norte stores your cards, insurance and documents in one smart wallet — so you can uncover hidden benefits, avoid duplicate coverage, and know exactly what’s covered when life happens. No card linking. No guessing. Just the clarity your wallet never gave you.
This question is semi-philosophical, but I recall my ex-classmate she had quite rich parents and really didn't need to work. As an only child, she had everything first (all technology, all pricy vacations, they even bought her own flat in 18 + car). Since she had a lot of money from her parents and a lot of free time, she only enjoyed life (some dr*gs and other stuff). As a person, she didn't look like someone who would appreciate money or time at all because it was "normal" to have everything from all above mentioned.
(And I don't want to sound bad, but I honestly don't know what skill she would have that she could use to make a living - the only thing she was really good at was being sassy, which, oddly enough, earned some people's respect.)
It's amazing that we're now backed by Goodwater Capital. When I joined, we were just a small startup. And yet, I'm still the first and only marketer on this team.
During my tenure, the marketing team has averaged 1.7 full-time employees. In other words, excluding interns, I've been working alone for quite a long time.
TechCrunch shared an excerpt from a roughly 30-minute panel featuring Sam Altman, where he mentioned that within the next two years, they plan to introduce hardware built by their AI company.
It s supposed to be: "screenless" and pocket-sized offering a calmer experience than smartphones
avoiding constant notifications and attention overload
Many brands have their long-standing mascots (McDonald's, Mr Clean, Michelin), etc. But with the development of AI, physical forms are moving online, and AI avatars look promising in this.
On one hand, it feels less human (authentic), on the other hand, AI influencers are a "cheaper" solution.
