Creators, how long do you spend searching for trending content ideas each week?

Hey folks,

I’ve been talking to a bunch of creators lately and noticed a pattern. Most spend a surprising amount of time searching through Google Trends, YouTube trending, X, Reddit, etc just to find one or two solid content ideas.

Some said they lose 1 to 2 hours a day. Others feel like they keep spotting trends only after they’re already saturated.

So I’m trying to validate the pain a bit more:

How long does it take you to find good content ideas each day or week?

And do you often feel like you miss trends because you see them too late?

I’m building a tiny tool called NoMissTrend that pulls real time signals from multiple platforms and sends daily trend backed content ideas straight to your inbox. No dashboards. Just one email every morning.

If this sounds useful, I’d love to hear your experience.

And if you want to try the first digests, you can hop on the waitlist here:

Thanks for reading and curious to see your answers!

Love this idea and just added my email to your list.

I spend a good amount of time each week looking for the next marketing idea.

Really appreciate you joining the list. That means a lot.

And yeah, marketing ideas are a whole different beast. You can spend hours jumping between platforms, reading threads, checking what other brands are doing… and still end up feeling like you missed something.

My goal with NoMissTrend is to make that part lighter. Just one email that gives you a few strong starting points so you do not have to dig for them every week.

Thanks again for the support. If you have any specific types of ideas you want to see in the digest, feel free to tell me.

I am starting to post videos now... finally! And my take will be to bring my own distinctive style. Still early one to know how that would look but will try not to look too much into what others are doing and try to be engaging while bringing some distinctiveness. Wish me luck. Not sure if this helps? Maybe the tool can also help at looking and things people are trying and working... out of trends

Makes sense. Style is everything. Trends help with timing, but your vibe is what keeps people watching. I might add a feature that highlights formats people respond to, not just trends.
And good luck with the new videos!

We spend about 2 - 3H00 on every Monday to create the scenarios and the publishing strategy for the week, and we generate day by day.

That’s a solid workflow. Still, 2–3 hours every Monday adds up fast. This is exactly the kind of time I’m trying to reduce with NoMissTrend. Thanks for sharing your process!

interesting, I have added our email to give it a try.

Thank you!
