Which apps or tools have drastically improved your startup/workflow?

Hey everyone,

I m curious to know: What are some of the apps, tools, or services you ve discovered that have truly transformed the way you work or build your startup/product, or basically helped you in day-to-day work productivity? It could be anything from project management, productivity hacks, automation, communication, or even wellness tools that help you stay focused.

If you had to delete your entire website but keep only one section live, what would that section be?

Over time, I ve realized how much effort we put into our websites on landing pages, pricing, testimonials, product tours and yet, most visitors only ever deeply interact with one or two sections depending on your ICP.

  • For developer-first products, that s usually docs.

  • For consumer apps, maybe it s onboarding or pricing.

  • For enterprise tools, perhaps case studies or ROI calculators.

The rest is mostly noise or at least secondary.

It made me wonder:

Do you think early users care about design or just function?

I ve been thinking about how much design quality actually matters in the earliest stages of a product.

Some users don t seem to mind rough edges if the tool genuinely solves a problem. Others instantly bounce if the UI doesn t feel trustworthy.

What kind of technology surprised you last time?

We keep seeing things like AI and LLM. But I'm happy about technology products that go beyond the occasional. For example, today I read that Aura is introducing a $499 e-ink digital photo frame that allows you to work without a cable.

I was also happy with the @Flowtica Scribepen from @zaczuo .

Sketch adds MCP support

Doesn't seem like Sketch is trying to catch up with @Figma Make, but at least they've added support for MCP. Typical use cases include:

  • Exporting assets for developer handoff

  • Reviewing or auditing design systems for inconsistencies

  • Generating new screens from templates using existing components

Hey folks

We re developers who constantly ship apps in Russian and English our native + global setup.

But every time clients asked for one more language (Spanish, Polish, Hungarian, etc.), it turned into chaos:

duplicate keys, mismatched files, broken placeholders and endless manual review

What kind of physical work would you do to relax? (Explained more in the thread)

Yesterday, in a few Reddit forums and generally from the discussions around me, I noticed that people are "tired" of office work.

Either too much routine or exaggerated demands on creativity and the like. Mostly, these are people who are paid well and can afford to "leave" their jobs to explore, relax, do something else.

New features and iOS release!

Thank you to all 500 users who have been talking to Dai every day to learn a language. This is the first large scale project of mine and I'm really happy and thankful for all the feedback and support I've received the past month. In this second official launch of Talk to Dai on PH, I wanted to share an exciting announcement: Talk to Dai is now on iOS!

I also wanted to release with this update a couple of new features to support the language learning process and make things more personalized and engaging. My goal is to make no two chats the same, each chat should teach something new, and surprise you with new experiences in your target language. There are now flashcards, personalized daily "learning goals", and random image comprehension topics that pop up from time to time.

Superhuman-Style Hotkeys for Pretty Prompt πŸ”₯

Still feels unreal. You can now use Pretty Prompt entirely from your keyboard, no mouse needed .

One of the biggest blockers for me to adopt new products is how easy it is to use them.

And for Pretty Prompt, was to always using the mouse to click in order to improve a prompt.

Realistic audio with expanded emotional range

I'm trying to create realistic audio to support scenarios for frontline staff in homeless shelters and housing working with clients. The challenge is finding realistic voices that have a wide range of emotional affect. We are hoping to find a generative approach to developing multiple voices rather than creating voices with actors or ourselves. We've tried v3 Voice Design which expands on monotone generated voices but not much. We want voices that go from soft whispers to screaming and everything in between. Perhaps I'm not very good at prompting, but I've tried various attempts. Again, we're trying to do this without needing to record every voice which is not sustainable for our approach. Any recommendations? Thanks!

What’s the one thing that always breaks first when you take an AI project from demo to production?

We ve all been there- the prototype works beautifully, the demo looks magical and then everything breaks when real users hit it.

Sometimes it s context loss.

Sometimes it s API chaos.

What's a product that you discovered on Product Hunt that has changed your life?

I ve been on this platform for almost three years without interruption, reviewing dozens of products every day. I try many of them, but only a few have become part of my daily routine, ones I can t imagine living without.

I will pin, for example, 3 of them:

@TabMagic - Bookmark & Tab Manager I no longer need 500 tabs open; I can save them to my dashboard and close my entire browser.

βœ… POLL: Do you think GPT-5 plays it safe compared to earlier LLMs?

I have been around since the GPT-3 days, and one thing I ve noticed with GPT-5 is how careful it has become.

One clear difference between GPT-5 and the earlier 4o model is a kind of hesitation when it comes to certain topics, be it macroeconomics, politics, or anything nuanced.
