Excited to see Ubicloud on Product Hunt! I've worked with members of the team in the past at Citus Data and Azure, and can attest to their focus on technical excellence and building a long-lasting product. We've been using Ubicloud successfully for many months now here at pganalyze (https://pganalyze.com/), to power part of our test and deployment pipeline. It's clear that the combination of...

We're launching the new pganalyze Index Advisor today (https://pganalyze.com/blog/introducing-pganalyze-index-advisor) - this is both a free standalone tool, as well as an automatic experience for pganalyze customers. Based on the Postgres queries, as well as the schema and table sizes, we calculate which indexes work best for the query. We've built the index advisor using the Postgres planner...

Launched the new pganalyze today! Ever wondered why your Postgres queries are slow? With pganalyze you can quickly find the root cause of a slow query, by using the auto_explain mechanism in Postgres to automatically collect EXPLAIN plans & get visualizations and insights for them. Together with the release we've also done a major redesign, so feedback and questions are very welcome :)

I'm a big fan of Jobs-to-be-Done and the whole idea of going away from customer "problems" and more towards the focus on what they're trying to get done. It can be a dry topic at times, but @destraynor does a great job interviewing @Ulwick - lots of little gems in this one :)

Fun side project by a friend of mine - this enables you, rightful owner of old Game Boy Color ROMs, to play them on your iPhone/iPad. Its essentially taking the open-source Game Boy Online emulator, and makes it work well on the iPhone - see GitHub for the full source. As said, you'll need the ROMs, put them in your Google Drive - visit the emulator website on your phone - and it works (with...

One of the quintessential works on user experience - although its a bit web-focused from today's perspective. Many of the core concepts in the book are also basic 101 for any web developer/designer, so it might not be as insightful as it once was. But I still enjoy reading it every now and then.
