How to grow your LinkedIn account and maintain your presence there?

We're not going to lie. One of the key places people ask you for help with a PH launch is in LinkedIn DMs (followed by X and email).

Most connections I got were people from Product Hunt, so it is a pity not to use that platform.
I am trying to grow LinkedIn and play with many strategies, among:

  • posting several pieces of content per day

  • actively comment on other people's posts

  • send a certain number of connection requests per day

  • do collaborative posts with other creators

  • writing LinkedIn articles/newsletters (native feature)

Open Infrastructure for the Agentic Era

Hey Product Hunt, Musa here.

We re entering a new era not just of models, but of agents.

But there s a missing piece nobody talks about: the infrastructure layer that keeps them alive, efficient, and accountable.

Where startups are spending on AI according to a16z and Mercury

Full report from @olivia_moore @mha1 & @seema_amble :

  • Horizontal apps have a slight lead over vertical (60% of the list). This includes general assistants (ex. @Perplexity) and SIX different meeting support tools (ex. Fyxer AI). But, it also encompasses creative tools and vibe coding tools that are used in roles across orgs.

  • Vertical apps can augment human labor...or replace it. We're mostly seeing the former - but five companies on the list allow customers to "hire AI" (ex. Crosby Legal, @Cognition IP , @11X). Labor augmenters mostly assist with customer service, sales, and recruiting.

  • Vibe coding has landed in enterprises. It's not just a prosumer trend! Number three on the list, below @OpenAI and Anthropic? Replit. Other listmakers in the category include @Lovable and @Emergent 2.0, while @Cursor made the ranks for more technical users.

  • Products are making the consumer -> enterprise jump. 12 cos also appeared in our most recent Consumer AI Top 100 - almost all of which started out B2C and have migrated B2B over time. In fact, 70% of listmakers are available for individual use (no enterprise license needed)!

Why we went Claude-only (v0.5.0)

When we first launched prjct/cli, the idea was to work with every AI editor @Claude Code, @Cursor, @Windsurf (my fav), @Codex by OpenAI. Sounded great, right? But in practice it was a mess:

  • Tons of extra code just for compatibility

  • Features blocked because we had to play lowest-common-denominator

  • Testing was impossible to trust

Forget the Millions. Focus on Your First 10 Users.

Charlie (@cerwindcharlie)and I have been thinking a lot about what really matters when building a startup. And honestly, it all comes down to one thing:

Making something people want.

It s a bit cringe but it s true.

Learn smarter, remember longer with AI-powered language learning

Learning a new language is exciting until you realize most words you translate you forget.

That s the problem we set out to solve with Mesmo.

Instead of just showing you translations, Mesmo helps you:

Learn while reading your favorite books (upload & tap to translate)

✨ Introducing: AI-powered search engine

Hey PH!
We ve been building something new, an AI-powered search engine for DIY & home improvement, built from scratch. The idea is simple: help you quickly find the right tutorials, guides, and answers without all the clutter.

Kind of like Perplexity, but for makers

  • Ask any DIY questions

  • Get quick, reliable results from trusted sources

  • Follow up to dig deeper or refine answers

Vercel announces Series F: $9.3 billion valuation on a new $300M investment

The vibes are vibin'.

In one year, AI SDK soared from 446,012 to 3,209,817 weekly downloads:

Building Centurion: Making Windows cybersecurity simple & modern

I ve been building Centurion solo, a Windows security tool designed to make modern threats like phishing and infostealers easy to understand and block, without relying on heavy antivirus engines.

It s still early access, and I d love to use this thread to:

  • Share the vision behind Centurion

  • Gather early feedback from developers, sysadmins, and security enthusiasts

  • Discuss modern approaches to endpoint security

Are humanoids just an unburst bubble with no future?

I have seen (let's say) quite a lot of hardware robots to be launched on Product Hunt, and we tend to be bullish about such futuristic things. BUT...

Renowned roboticist Rodney Brooks says that this is only a bubble.

Because of two reasons:

GraphBit- an AI frameworks that scale, not collapse

Most frameworks shine in demos.

But when you put them under real workloads they burn CPU, leak memory, crash agents, and cost huge amount of dollar in electricity.

Poll: Best IDE in 2025?

According to the 2025 @Stack Overflow Developer Survey (49,000+ participants), @VS Code and @Visual Studio remain the most used dev environments, despite the rise of subscription-based, AI-enabled code editors @Cursor and @Windsurf among others. Both maintain their top spots relying on extensions as optional, paid AI services like @Github Copilot and @Kilo Code.

Curious which IDE the Product Hunt community uses the most?

How to build relationships with influencers when you want to promote your product?

This is more of a feedback for marketers who are trying to establish contact with bigger influencers.

Thanks to my experience from "both sides", I noticed certain patterns that could work better and satisfaction would be on both sides. :)
