Still 8 followers. Launching in 5 days.
I keep going back and forth in my head, does this even make sense? Or are we just walking into a quiet launch no one will see?
I ve seen people with big audiences still land in the middle, so I honestly don t understand how much of this is preparation and how much is just luck.
If you ve launched before, would you ship anyway? Or spend time building some momentum first?
Launching on Product Hunt Next Week... and Honestly, I'm Nervous
I recently saw a marketer with 10k+ followers launch and finish 6th with 348 upvotes. They followed a proper pre-launch and post-launch plan, did everything right, and still the outcome felt unpredictable.
Now I m launching @Curatora next week.
I m not a marketer. I have a little over 1k followers. Of course, asking for support helps. But I also keep hearing that a large part of the Product Hunt community shows up mainly for their own launch, then goes quiet until the next one.
That makes me wonder: how much of success here is strategy, and how much is timing and network effect?
How is your family history stored today?
I m curious how people actually preserve family history right now.
Is it:
Mostly oral stories that get forgotten over time?
Scattered documents and photos?
A proper family tree somewhere online?
Or nowhere just something you mean to do one day ?
Would love to understand what s real.
