I m increasingly noticing a trend: people use AI for (almost everything), especially for writing texts. it is nothing new, but it started to be annoying (?)
The problem is that AI often: fully or largely replicates existing text without adding anything new adds completely pointless things, like a two-line comment followed by writes extremely long comments that no one will actually read

The idea is simple: instead of spending hours on Google Maps, blogs, and TripAdvisor trying to piece together an itinerary, you tell our AI what kind of trip you want and it builds a complete day-by-day plan with real places, accurate travel times, local restaurants, and hidden gems.
AI still makes mistakes when coding. However, for simple fixes or features do you bother switching branches and testing locally before creating a PR or pushing to production? Or do you just ask Claude for a fix, review quickly, then push? I saw an interview with Peter Steinberger (creator of Openclaw). Where he mentions he always pushes to main and almost entirely vibe codes. If you look at his contributions, you see how fast he ships. Do devs need to be more trusting?
For as long as software has existed, the user has been a person. Someone sitting at a desk, poking at a phone, or calling an API. That assumption was so obvious it was never really a design principle, it was just common sense. Every decision about hierarchy, color, button placement, and error messaging was downstream of a single fact: a human being is going to see this.
Today, I came across an article on TechCrunch: The great computer science exodus (and where students are going instead).
It shows that UC campuses saw a drop in computer science enrollment for the first time since the dot-com crash (6% in 2025, 3% in 2024), but students are shifting to AI-focused programs.

Since I haven't been able to meet my work goals very well in the last few quarters, I now plan to approach them more systematically and not push myself too hard on work goals, as that ultimately led to problems that made my plan less sustainable.
