Talking to clients! New features should make their lives easier or solve some pain, but not what you think might do it, what THEY SAY would do it. And then A/B test.

do you think you have a chance to win product of the month? Do you have a list of people who will support the product? Then beginning of the month is better. If you are just counting on luck and are not sure if the product would gain lots of traction on PH (for example, your target audience is not on PH), then it doesnt matter at all.
