@big_tree Hey! There's no asynchronous tracking on sending yet, a fully baked logging functionality is what we're currently focusing on post beta launch. This launch is oriented towards the AI editor, we want people to experiment with it and give us feedback on user experience and design quality. A roadmap for upcoming features is present in the landing page of the product, and also, with Volamail being open source, the releases we make will be public on GitHub and they will feature a changelog of everything we worked on. @lamthomas Hey! So we had two main goals with this: 1. Simplify the creation of complex email designs. We think AI prompting can be extremely powerful when you have a clear idea of what you want the design to look like. 2. Integrate with existing tech stacks easily via a plain Rest API. We also had opinions about this being fully open source and self-hostable. A lot of competitors in this field can get quite expensive as you scale, so we want to always give the flexibility of self-hosting when needed.

@ezshine Hey, thanks for the comment! The LLM is at the core of the editor. The editor itself is a large AI prompt that renders the designs you request to the LLM, on top of that you can edit each element manually to make fine-tuned adjustments (prompting all the time can get annoying). The implementation is just prompting for now, but we experimented a lot to settle on the vendor that provided the best quality and our prompts are tailored to generate emails compatible with most email clients. We're also working on a fine-tuned model that is based on better email designs we hand-crafted ourselves to give an even better starting point when generating an email from scratch. Regarding self-hosting, we have a guide on our docs on how to do it. AWS is mainly for the Amazon SES offering (which we use for email sending), the actual product can be self-hosted anywhere and is not dependent on AWS. Cheers!

Integration with other tech stacks should always be possible via the Rest API, but in the future we're envisioning the creation of language-specific SDKs to improve developer experience when possible. Stumbled upon this tool through an online ad, first impressions it’s kinda cool but it feels like AI-driven emails could mess up the personal touch, has anyone else felt this, also wondering if a feature for easier integration with other email platforms might help? hasn't really solved my problem tbh
