I ve been building products for a long time (15+ years), and I recently tried using v0.dev for the first time. Honestly didn t expect much, but I was surprised how quickly I got something real off the ground - not just a playground UI, but a fully working fitness app with protected routes, dashboards, flow logic, the works.
It s called The HIIT PIT and it s live, but that s not why I m posting.
I m more curious to hear from other devs and indie makers:
next-forge is a boilerplate with everything you need to launch a production-ready @Next.js app. Acquired by @Vercel last June, it just got a new update by its original maker @haydenbleasel.
highlight reliable hosting, fast deploys, and infrastructure that lets them focus on product. Many call out the AI SDK for multi-model support and streaming. Users appreciate global performance, free-tier accessibility, and simple domain/CI setup. Critiques note pricing at scale, onboarding/UI hiccups, and that complex, production needs may require extra tuning.
We host Paage’s main Next.js apps on Vercel. It’s been highly reliable, simplifying deployments, CI, and collaboration thanks to their preview links. With Vercel’s global edge network and auto-optimized performance, we can confidently ship features fast and provide a great user experience anywhere. Highly recommended!
Vercel was instrumental in deploying Linkeddit. Its tight integration with Next.js made continuous deployment and hosting effortless. Serverless functions and an intuitive workflow gave us the flexibility to scale. Though we compared services like Netlify, Vercel’s developer-focused approach and seamless integration with Next.js were a perfect match for our needs.
We've hosted Tool Finder on Vercel for nearly two years, and it’s been a game-changer. The seamless deployment, excellent performance, and powerful features like edge functions and automatic scaling make it an obvious choice for us. Highly recommend it to devs looking for a reliable, hassle-free hosting platform.
