It's really exciting to see the evolution of the Thunder platform! Which elements of a user's profile are most predictive of successful investor matches, and what should users pay the most attention to during onboarding to optimise their outcomes?

We take 80 points of data into consideration for each match. They're all weighted appropriated to the stage of the company and transaction they're seeking. The best way to optimize is to come in with realistic expectations on where your company is at and what transaction type and size is appropriate based on your company's status. If you're doing $100K ARR and want to raise a $10M Series A, odds are your results will be disappointed, statistically speaking, that's a losing combo. But if you're $100K ARR seeking $1M in pre-seed at a $5M valuation! then you'll look great!
As an angel investor that sticks with real estate and private equity, I'm excited to see a platform offering private equity options for companies and investors. Full disclosure my only early stage investment has been in Thunder and it's great to see it paying off today

Great product! Which specific stages and sectors of companies is this best suited for?

@phuong_ireland1 love this question, thank you. The platform caters more specifically to tech companies, B2B or B2C for the most part. Software companies would benefit the most. But we have a strong output for D2C, ecom, CPG, and hardware.
Stage wise- we cover all stages from pre-seed to late stage to M&A to acquihires to buyouts. We realized that so many companies chase only VC, but there are some many more options out there to consider.
