Social anxiety sucks. It can be quite crippling oftentimes. Exposure therapy is something that could definitely be helpful to a lot of people. I also like the "personality" of the app. Great project!
@shod4n Hi Jakub! Thank you! Yes we for sure think there is alot of improvements to be done in the space of anxiety/mental health and tech. Just the beginning! 😁
We really need more products like this. It is a novel way to solve an underrated problem, and the quality is outstanding. I think a next great step could be a way to let users support and connect with one another, feeling like you're not the only one facing the issue could be very encouraging.
@l__a__l__o Thanks! Yes, you're absolutely right about this. Also seeing that someone else has done a challenge and "survived" it, could definitely be encouraging :)

NICE IDEA... Many people deal with all sorts of social anxieties, so anything to help them is great to see.
Maybe challenges that would help sales people within organisations. I could see this being used as a tool within large corps for their sales force
Thanks @sam_cholera!
That's an interesting idea, we've already been talking about how this could help companies and it's employees, so very relevant 😊

This is great. I used to (and still do) struggle with social anxiety, and the best way to get over it is to take small little steps and challenge yourself to do something you normally would to be too anxious too. Just downloaded this app. It is interesting to see how some of the steps are quite easy to me but others seem impossible! I am excited to try this out and build confidence. :)
It would be great if we are able to have a diary of the steps we took/achieved, or even knowing that others have trialled it and what their experience was! Since one of the biggest catalysts (for me, anyway) for social anxiety is "being the only one who will ________", when that is almost never true.
@j_ennychu thanks Jenny! 🤗 That is a super good point, reading others experiences and seeing they "survived" will probably encourage you. That's actually how we started out with steps, by documenting our own experiences on www.medium.com/steps

Congratulations on the launch @rikkekoblauch and @fabianehlert!
I've been a part of the beta and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to see it develop from here!
This looks great! I had a similar small-wins system that helped me overcome my crippling social anxiety via exposure therapy so I'm confident your app will help many SA sufferers. I have no need for this app now but will definitely let my former social anxiety support group friends know. Cheers.
Hi @mattesar_com, great to hear you have good experience with exposure therapy. We'd actually love to talk to you more in detail about it, can you shoot me an email rikkekoblauch@gmail.com?
Thanks @garytokman - Can't wait to hear about your experiences with it! Yes, that is a big focus for us the coming weeks, we want to let people share their experiences doing challenges and inspire others. We already started sharing some of our own experiences on our blog www.medium.com/steps
