Very cool idea, KJ... I was working on something similar (Producia) for college campuses back in 2014 and one of the biggest challenges we came across in our pilot project was a lot of students didn't know what skills they had to offer other students. I'm a huge proponent for alternative economics and I even developed an economic model called Producism (http://producism.org). Would love to chat sometime :).

Hey @kjer this is fabulous! I actually had pitched this idea at Startup Weekend to help single parents trade work for their children's education and activities. It's awesome to see. In all honesty, I don't think there is any reason to monetise when it's based around bartering. 😉

That's a super literal logo. Relatively cute though & more welcoming that whatever MC Escher-eques logo you'd make for more of a "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" direction. Nice place to start bartering if you're not exactly liquid, interested to see if it somehow works 'symbiotically' with the cash economy.
