How is this not the top voted product already?!?! I can see this being one of those things that you never knew you needed, but can't live without once you use it. An extremely poach-able idea though. I can see Loom releasing this in a few months and taking all the credit

@meshoo12 Thanks! I'm certainly planning for more options because this is very much an MVP, but I've not decided on the next features yet. The next features will be based on feedback & usage. Adding submitter details & notifications make a lot of sense. Could you see yourself using this? What would your ideal workflow be?

@meshoo12 I'd the say the biggest feature from my perspective is to make sure it works on Safari. Then it can truly be used for 99% of support issues which would be a game changer.

@meshoo12 @wardsandler It currently works in Safari with a couple of "experimental features" turned on, so it's likely just a matter of time until it works for Safari generally 🤞🏼

@ramykhuffash From my perspective as I do customer support I would like to say features like: 1- Giving the submitter an option to add his name or add a comment. 2- To be able to delete videos. 3- To have title for the video like the window or tab name. 4-To have customized page and URL with company name, logo etc... Also I wonder for how long the videos stay hosted?

@meshoo12 That all makes sense. Currently the videos are hosted until they're deleted, but I'm thinking it may make sense to make them auto delete after a certain number of days unless specifically saved (as in most cases, the support rep will understand the issue from the video and then won't need it anymore). Good morning Product Hunt people 👋🏼 Screenjar makes it super simple to request screen recordings from teammates & customers. If you want some good feedback for a new design you're working on, or want a user to show you an issue they're bumping into, send them a unique link, they use that link to record their screen (without having to install any extensions or download anything), then once they're done recording, the video is uploaded for you to review. It's a super simple workflow with many use cases. This is very much an MVP, but it's functional and ready to be put into action. I'm excited to see how you end up using it. There's a live demo on the homepage that you can try out without signing up, so give that a go to get a better idea of how this works

@owenfar1 Thanks! In terms of pricing, I'll come up with a pricing plan if people end up using in in the long run. It's very much an MVP at the moment. The recordings are indeed stored on the server. A setting for them to auto-delete after a few days probably makes sense for some use cases.
