Most AI notetakers send a bot to sit in your meetings. Reline doesn't. It captures audio right on your device — no bot in the participant list, no "X is recording" popping up for everyone else — then hands you: • Speaker-attributed transcripts — who said what, automatically • Citation-backed summaries — every claim links to the moment it was said • Multilingual transcription out of the box • One notepad across macOS, Windows, and web All the notes, none of the awkward bot.

Hey, looks cool.
QQ, how does this compare with Granola?
@krishna_gupta51 Good question. Main thing is Reline runs basically everywhere. Native apps on Mac, Windows and Linux, plus a full web app you can open in any browser. Granola's only a Mac or Windows app, no web version and nothing for Linux.
So you get the proper desktop app like Granola has, you're just not stuck on the one machine. Different laptop, a locked-down work computer, a Linux box, two minutes on someone else's screen, and your stuff's still there. With Granola it lives wherever you installed it.
Big one for us, we don't throw the audio out. Granola only transcribes, there's no recording kept behind it, so once the meeting's done the summary is all that's left. We actually keep the recording. You can scrub the timeline, click a line in the transcript to jump to that exact moment, and play it back if you're not sure what someone said. If Granola mishears a name or a number, that's it, there's nothing to check it against.
It also works in a lot more languages. We do 60+ for transcription, Granola's around 10 on desktop (17 on their iPhone app), and the app itself is in 7 languages.
And underneath it's a proper notes app, not just a meeting log. Real editor, folders, teamspaces, version history, 8 themes if you care how it looks, and AI chat across everything you've recorded that sends you back to the exact spot it pulled the answer from. Closer to Notion that happens to record your calls.
So it runs in more places, speaks more languages, keeps the actual recording, and doubles as your notes app. That's the gap.
This is great! No more meetings that are twice as big cause everyone brought their bot along!
