saw your forum question about where agent authority should stop, that's the same wall we hit building a voice AI. an agent on a phone call can decide what to say next, but the moment it's deciding whether to actually book something or spend money, we pull that back to a human-approved rule every time. curious where you draw that line in Quiver specifically, is it "agent can publish content" vs "agent can't touch the campaign budget", or something more granular than that

@galdayan More granular. In Quiver, we treat authority as permission to make specific state transitions—not a blanket permission like “can publish.”
An agent can research, draft, synthesize, and propose changes. It can also execute inside a previously approved envelope—for example, publishing an already approved artifact to an approved destination. But it can’t approve its own work, silently change the source of truth, widen the audience, or create new financial exposure.
So it’s less “agents can publish but can’t touch budgets” and more: they can execute approved decisions; they can’t quietly make new ones.

@tessak22 "they can execute approved decisions, they can't quietly make new ones" is a cleaner way to say what we do than however we've been explaining it internally. going to borrow that framing next time someone asks why our agent can reschedule a call but can't approve a refund on its own.
