the self-signup part is the piece that gives me pause - an agent that can sign itself up and start sending on my domain without me in the loop for each step. what's stopping that from tanking domain reputation if the agent gets a little too enthusiastic with the marketing send? is there a rate limit or review gate before it actually hits real inboxes

@omri_ben_shoham1 fair pause to have. Signup is self-serve but sending isn't a free-for-all: your domain has to pass SPF, DKIM and DMARC before anything sends, fresh accounts are quota'd rather than open volume, bulk sends sit behind an approval gate by default (a human clicks go), and bounce and complaint monitoring runs on everything. The agent gets no more rope than a brand new human customer would.
The beta inboxes on your own domain worry me. A wrong 1-1 customer reply now comes from the company's real domain, so the blast radius lands on the sender, not Nitrosend

@oleksandr_knyga yes guardrails are important, and you decide how much autonomy you give to your agents on email out, if you're worried you can set it to draft only (human approve). many of our current users are running outbound email already on other tools (a lot using their own domains), but want it better targeted and more personalised. that's what we're aiming at with this
The agent following the guardrails a good sender would is exactly the reassurance I needed — the ramp being enforced, not advisory, is the whole game. One operational follow-up: when an agent queues more than the fresh-domain quota allows, does Nitrosend hold and drip the overflow server-side, or does the agent get a rate-limit error it has to catch and pace itself? Trying to figure out whether unattended sends just work or need retry logic around them.
The part of this thread nobody has touched yet: what does the agent see when email goes wrong? Sends fail asynchronously. Bounces, spam blocks, and reputation dips show up hours after the send call returned success. A human notices in a dashboard; an agent only knows if the failure comes back structured. Do you expose bounce and deliverability events to the agent as typed, machine-readable errors it can branch on, and is that push or poll? Related: when SKILL.md changes, how does an agent that onboarded against the old version learn the contract moved? Deliverability feedback feels like the difference between agents that operate and agents that quietly burn a domain.

Tried it out and sent an email from Claude in about 3 minutes. Pretty useful, I'm not a fan of logging into a clunky dashboard just to send an email when everything else is via API/MCP.

@jgdeutsch @gthartley I think you should add features that make a user not even feel the time they spend there, because if I have to login on a dashboard just for my AI agent to send an email instead of doing it proactively in the background, it gets annoying. Love the vision though, but still needs some more planning.

@jgdeutsch @limpho_mofolo that's exactly the direction we're going. The dashboard should be the fallback, not the main thing. Your agent already has full access via MCP, so it can draft, send and manage campaigns in the background without you logging in at all. The proactive stuff (agent flags what needs you, handles the rest) is what we're building towards.
Finally a sane way to let agents handle email without me babysitting every send. Pointed one at the SKILL.md file and it had my domain sending in minutes, which honestly surprised me.

Do customers adopt Nitrosend mainly to automate outreach, or because they want AI to manage the entire email lifecycle end to end?
