Do not recommend. The Crown didn't operate as implied on the website. There is an image on the home page of their website which shows a User's graph when they have been tracking their brain waves while working for over 2 hours, however it's not possible to do this with the app and device that I have. The supplied app (with prioprietary music) only works for 5 minutes at a time and you're meant to stop what you're doing, close your eyes and focus on the music while it's playing ie. you cannot use it continuously while you work. The manufacturers suggest you can you link it with a Spotify premium account but this is just playing publically available music and I can see no way to monitor what my brain waves are doing during those sessions.

Setup was very sketchy (literally took 3 hours across multiple attempts on both Android and iPhone to get the thing to connect to wifi) Boot sequence takes 30-90 seconds (literally faster to make a cup of coffee) Heavy sudo-science vibes (this thing basically just plays energetic music on a 5 minute loop) For people ordering internationally, know that Neurosity doesn't process local sales tax properly (got hit by a surprise $120 cash on delivery import bill) Customer service is pretty much bottom barrel (when I complained, they literally just responded with a copy/paste from there TOS - literally no human touch) Suffice to say, I'm returning. I'll update here if they find some way to refuse to honor their claimed return policy.

Review of Neurosity
Having tried it before the announcement, the accuracy of the product is super awesome. I was *genuinely* shocked at how well it works. As a developer, I'm also incredibly excited to build out some projects on top of it and ship them as free/OSS projects that use the Notion APIs for others to use and build off of.

Review of Notion 2
I first used Notion 1 in a packed coffee shop in San Francisco, it was their think to scroll demo and my mind was blown. By far, the best "brain computer" I've tried. Excited for Notion 2 and the haptic feedback! Keep up the good work, team!
