I had no idea how inefficient my sleep was until I saw the detailed breakdown of stages and the recommendations from the Sleep Coach. I'm also thrilled with the Journal feature: I was able to track how a late dinner or alcohol directly kills my recovery score - it really opened my eyes to my own habits. Within a few months, I've started waking up feeling much more rested and energetic. This is the best investment I've made in my health in recent years
What needs improvement
I would like to see tighter integration with meditation or mindfulness apps. It would be interesting to directly track how meditation affects HRV and recovery
vs Alternatives
The smartwatches I considered mainly focus on steps, calories, and notifications. I needed something more. I chose WHOOP because it's the only device that concentrates on the Strain - Recovery - Sleep triad
WHOOP has been one of my favorite tools for my health. I have a disease called Muscular Dystrophy that requires that I recover, sleep well enough, and give my body enough strain/exercise. I also love the journal feature, which provides me insights into the health behaviors impacting my recovery.
I ordered whoop and I am waiting for it for 3 weeks already - noone can tell me where is it. I received a track number but it shows only that It was shipped, nothing else. I emailed support and didn't get any answer for 3 days already. Sales team cannot check even status of my ticket to support which is crazy - left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing. Sales team doesn't want to accept my complaints and tell about it to their management. So I can't get what I get paid for and I don't get any help.
Been using Whoop for 5 months. I love it. I am glad I got it, I was on the fence thinking i should not use it since I have an apple watch, but i am glad that I did.
