Nekton is a service that will help you automate your daily tasks. You can describe your workflow in plain language, and Nekton AI will create automation for you and run it in the cloud.
I'm Alex, founder of Nekton.ai. We've built this service to help people automate their day-to-day tasks quickly and easily. You can describe your workflow as text steps, and then Nekton AI will convert them to code and run it in the cloud. You don't have to know how to code to do this.
Nekton integrates with thousands of online services and can do most of the things that their API provides. It works best with small, well-defined tasks, and can even use AI from the automation to understand text or write unique content.
If you're doing the same things over and over every day, try automating it with Nekton workflow! You can start by creating a step-by-step checklist and then gradually replace steps with automation.
You can check out our sample workflow that shows service features, or try out one of the templates:
• Automated user support
• Get notified when people talk about a problem your product solves
• Automate news posting to Twitter

@aplex Hi Alex! Congratulations with the launch. Do you have integration with Apple Notes?
@chris_robinson10 Overall the experience is pretty good. There are well-known limitations with the size of the input and output LLM can handle, and I look forward to their increase, as it will unlock even better automation options. Another thing that I observed is that sometimes AI can automate a thing that you described, but not the thing you meant. And then I look at generated code and think - well, that's not exactly what I wanted, but also it actually exactly matches the description of the task. So, describing the task to automate may require some skill at the moment. I'm looking forward to bigger LLMs that can make better assumptions by themselves, or be able to consume more context about the user and his goals.

This is pretty cool..., congrats!
Great idea and neat implementation.
It would be awesome if you could just drop in some external API URL and / or field for more detailed instructions... if it could fetch the openAPI specs, then it would be possible to connect it to any proprietary API
@ju_bezdek Yes, that is on our roadmap! Any specific services/APIs you are interested in using first?

@aplex I was mainly experimenting. Tried Google Drive, but I saw that you have already a pretty impressive collection of integrations.
What I missed thought was a way to instruct the LLM to fix the error / make a change - additional to the original description. (with the context what is already written there)... but I guess these things are also on your roadmap:)
@sentry_co Yep, give it a shot! For simple automation, it works pretty reliably. If you are describing a more complex multi-step task, it may take several attempts to get the desired result. Just click on the "Automate" button again to try a different implementation.

I think you need a lot of tuto for people to understand, use cases are vital
